FAQ
  • Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes, we do! You can purchase one here. You'll be emailed a printable gift certificate file that looks like the one in the image below. Simply use the gift code on the certificate to book an appointment -- either mention the gift certificate/code when calling or messaging us, or provide your gift code in the booking notes when booking online. If you'd like to personalize the text on the certificate, fill out the gift certificate form here.
  • Are you LGBTQ+ friendly?
Yes, we are! All couples are respected and welcomed at our spa, regardless of race, gender or sexuality.
  • Can I do a couple's package with friends or family?
Yes, you can! Our packages are not strictly for romantic couples - any duo can enjoy the services we provide.
  • Can I receive a spa treatment if I am pregnant?
If you are pregnant, the only spa treatments you can receive are the facial treatments we offer. Unfortunately, prenatal massages are not available at this time due to safety concerns -- we apologize for any inconvenience.
  • What's the difference between Swedish and deep tissue?
A Swedish massage is a light massage geared towards relaxation, while still helping release any muscle tension and increasing blood flow. A deep tissue massage targets the inner layers of muscle, using stronger pressure to work out muscle knots and treat injuries - great for athletes or people who do hard labor in their line of work.
  • The time slot I want isn't available when I try booking online. Why is this?
The slot you're looking for might already be taken -- contact us by phone or email if you'd like to double check its availability. Note: Weekends can get booked up fast! Try booking a week or two ahead of time if you want a weekend spot, or even three weeks ahead of time if it's a holiday. And in the case of Valentine's Day and weekend, it's recommended to make reservations a month in advance.
  • I booked an appointment online. Why was it cancelled?
When you book a time slot online, it is just a request for that slot -- the appointment isn't guaranteed until we approve and confirm your request. This doesn't happen often, but once in a while your request may be denied due to conflict of schedule. We apologize in advance if this happens, but we will make sure you are notified as soon as possible, typically within the 24 hours after you book.
  • Do I need to bring anything to my spa session?
Nope! We have everything you need here for your visit -- including robes, slippers, bathing wear, towels, etc.
  • How much should I tip?
If you enjoy the treatment, we recommend a gratuity of 15 to 20 percent.
  • What is the sanitation fee?
Due to the unusual circumstances caused by the COVID-19 disaster, there was a need to take on extra maintenance costs in order to keep our guests and employees safe. This sanitation fee goes towards extra cleaning resources & equipment for keeping the spa facilities virus-free, it goes towards the masks we give to guests to help slow the spread, it goes towards the hand sanitizer that we have readily available throughout the spa, and more. We hope you understand our efforts to keep everybody safe in these uncertain times.
